Ms. Emily Young serves as our Clinical Fellow. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate under the clinical supervision of Audrey Omenson, LPC-S. With a decade of experience in neurological rehabilitation, Emily brings a unique perspective to therapy, specializing in supporting individuals and families navigating life after illness, injury, or disability. She also works with adolescents and adults facing life transitions, including academic or career changes, sports-related challenges, and shifts in physical ability. Emily is accepting new patients with reduced rate options.
Emily uses a blend of therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual. Her foundation includes traditional talk therapy, often integrating tools to help clients identify emotions and build skills like mindfulness and self-compassion for navigating distress. She also incorporates a focus on meaning-making and helping people identify their personal values, even in the face of difficult emotions and experiences.
