About Our Groups
We offer several group psychotherapy options in the evening. Patients can choose to attend groups as a stand-alone group or mix and match groups depending on their particular treatment needs. Some groups are structured and focus on psychoeducation, building skills, or discussing specific topics of interest. Other groups are less structured and focus on providing support, building relationships, increasing self-awareness, and improving communications skills.

Weekly Interpersonal Group Therapy with Dr. Jennifer Markey
These are weekly, ongoing interpersonal process groups for adults to come together in a safe environment in order to explore a variety of life issues and take a deep dive into their relationship with themselves and others. These groups aim to help participants deepen their understanding of themselves and, ultimately, to feel seen and heard in the company of others.

Weekly Skills Integration Group for Adults with Jenny Layer, LMSW
(supervised by Brittany Burch, LCSW-S, CGP and Jennifer Markey, PhD)
This is a structured, trauma-aware, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills focused group for adults who would benefit from more support and accountability than weekly therapy alone while not requiring the intensity of a higher level of care. This group fits in the therapeutic gap between self-maintenance and intensive care. The group offers ongoing structure, skills practice and connection to support stability and forward progress. It is intentionally designed to move coping strategies into regular habits.

Teen DBT Skills group (Age 14-17) with Jenny Layer, LMSW
(supervised by Brittany Burch, LCSW-S, CGP and Jennifer Markey, PhD)
High school can be intense. Academic pressure, friendships, family expectations, and big emotions can make it hard to feel steady and confident. Our Teen Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group offers a practical, hands-on space where students learn tools to navigate these challenges more effectively.
This is an interactive skills group, not traditional talk therapy. Through activities, discussion, and real-life practice, teens learn evidence-based strategies from DBT that help them manage stress, regulate emotions, and build healthier relationships.
